My name is Dr. Mark Weiss, and I am an addiction physician practicing in Toronto. Through my personal journey and work with clients, I have come to believe that meditation and yoga can play an important role in cultivating physical, emotional and spiritual balance. Illness represents an imbalance of our physical, emotional and spiritual being and the practice of yoga and meditation can often assist us to re-balance our life and heal illness. I am a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher and have started incorporating yoga and meditation into a therapeutic context.
Over the coming year, I will be expanding my services within Toronto and offering one to one yoga instruction, as well as workshops on yoga, meditation and mindfulness. I hope to add videos and articles on yoga and meditation and review some of the scientific research, which has been done on yoga and meditation.
